ULaLa for Louisiana

Most south LA people are pretty indifferent about La Tech

For Bama my answer would be UAB. The UAB fans think they deserve a brand new stadium when they can't even put five thousand asses in Legion Field..... ....Auburn is a historic program and academic institution. AU is closest in wins and losses against Bama than any other charter SEC team we've played.

Hendrix blows. Everyone I know from there thinks they went to some elite school, which is a joke. I grew up in Louisiana and had never heard of it until I was in my 20s.

I'm telling you, look at my previous response and actually read what the OP said. I promise, uab doesn't want to be like alabama. I had the pleasure of receiving my masters from uab so I'm somewhat in the loop. They want out of the UA system and basically they're stuck bc UAs med school is the pride and glory. As far as stadiums, they just want an over glorified football stadium like Samford has on campus. Honestly I really don't care about uab but to say they want to be bama is very inaccurate and shows you aren't aware of current dealings. Ask anybody involved on UABs campus and there'll tell you all about how they aren't the same or don't want to be the same

If the Razorbax wouldn't duck the Red Wolves it would be so bad but given no other SEC team runs from a instate program like Arkansas, one can only assume.......they scared.

Bama is pretty damn bad at possible games with instate schools. They should keep that money instate instead of giving it to Western Carolina. Won't happen though.

I'll let you have your tier 1

Tier 2
TCU - Their Alum have become the most annoying thing lately. Something about being in the big xii and being needed and frick aggie.
Tech - Yea 1/3 of lubbock has an STD enough said.
Baylor - Thinks they have Havard's Academics, UT's Athletics, and Bill Gates's money.

Alabama - Auburn

UA and AU are academic peers as far as USNews goes. And AU is in the SEC and was the last school not named Alabama to win a NC. So I wouldn't consider them 2nd tier if I had to be honest.

UAB is the correct answer. They have a world class hospital and med program but outside of that, the rest of the university isn't comparable to UA and AU and the football program is on life support.

Our 2nd tier is State, Tech, UCA. Its all the same to me. Its a pretty big drop off.

Well, to give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe MORE would show up if they didn't have to go into the neighborhood where Legion Field is located.

Don't know why my fellow Texans are putting Tech & Baylor ahead of U of Houston.

This list is much closer to being accurate.
