Auburn. Most are already predicting a West title. I want to see them handle Louisville first.

The question that actually needs to be answered is who has the most to lose and that is Alabama.

Us, A&M, and Bama are the three I think we'll be able to learn the most.

I'll also be interested to see what UF looks like, and Vandy vs a WKU team that can sneak up on you.

Alabama may have issues to address on defense but stopping the run is not one of them. They led the conference in run defense and finished top five nationally. A terrible performance against a hot team, in Ohio State, doesn't change that. 5 of 6 starters are back in the front seven and most of the two deep. They'll be good in 2015. LBs in space and safeties are another issue entirely.

TAMU - HAS THE MOST TO GAIN everyone outside of the TAMU camp thinks they will suck, so if they have a big showing against a decent power 5 school, I think that they will give everyone pause, and it will prove what they have been saying all off season, that they aren't the worst team in the west.

Alabama - HAS THE MOST TO LOSE. Alabama wins, well hell, it was Wisconsin, they were supposed to win. LSU won last year blah blah blah. If they lose, the rest of the conference will take a dump on their heads all season.

Auburn - HAS THE MOST TO PROVE - against a decent team in Louisville, hated head coach, Auburn is preseason favorite in the west in a lot of publications, but a lot of SEC fans aren't buying the hype. A resounding win here proves they are contenders in my opinion.

Pretty much this. Crazy when you look at A&M and Auburn both being 8-5, the circumstances of last season and how they finished, that one is being picked to win the division and the other is being picked last.

If it's most to prove, TAMU and Vandy. Wisconsin doesn't even have Melvin Gordon so who cares. South Carolina loses to UNC because although both of their defenses suck at the moment (I expect USCe to get better as the season goes), UNC actually brings back their entire rushing offense, their 3800 total yards 34 total TD QB in his second and a half year, and 9 of their top 10 pass catchers (all with at least 100 yards, four with at least 450).

Auburn will have some trouble but Vandy and TAMU are really in a dog fight.
