I only picked these 4 competitive games. (Everyone else is playing a cupcake)

Thursday, Sept. 3
1. South Carolina vs. North Carolina (at Charlotte, NC)

Saturday, Sept. 5
2. Alabama vs. Wisconsin (at Arlington, TX)

3.Auburn vs. Louisville (at Atlanta, GA)

4.Texas A&M vs. Arizona State (at Houston, TX)

I think your order is correct, but USC is the only one that I see losing.

Auburn. Their defense will be breaking in a new scheme against a Petrino offense

I don't know what to make of the A&M game yet and I wouldn't be surprised to see South Carolina lose game 1

Unless A&M's defense is much improved I think they lose.

True. Petrino's offense vs. a thin Auburn secondary could get interesting and call for an absolute shootout. It'll be interesting forsure.

Petrino is a dick too, he'll probably try to run the score up and then say something about the ACC being better than the SEC.

Auburn should really get a pass for losing to Louisville though for the reason you stated. It's gonna be tough to break in a new defense in a neutral environment in game 1 against Petrino.

definitely auburn. you have no defensive depth, and petrino's offense can keep up score for score.

ASU has some talent and they will be catching the Aggies early enough that the defense will still be spinning up to speed. I think the Aggies win, but I wouldn't bat an eye if they don't.

UNC vs USCe looks to be a tossup game. I don't think Spurrier gets thumped two season openers in a row though.

I think the Gamecocks squeak out with a W, and the Tide rolls, but I'm picking Arizona State over A&M, and I wouldn't be shocked if Louisville upset Auburn.

North Carolina has been terrible during the 1st half of the season since Larry Fedora took over I think South Carolina has a real good shot at beating North Carolina

Agree with Monticello. I believe we all win but I dont see Bama coming out and losing to Wisky. They typically play well right out of the shoot. Too much talent and coaching

I dont see us losing to Louisville. We have more talent and very good coaching staff and some great guys in key positions. We also typically play well in the Dome. I think we win 42-21

If ATM gets the defense going some, it could be a great game but I actually think they win as well. The offense will be clicking. Don't forget how they come out of the gate last year

USC vs NC. I dont know about this game at all. I am not UP on what USCe has coming back and who knows what Chizik will do with the UNC defense. I dont know enough about this game to comment

I the ASU is a pretty good team. We have not done well against pretty good teams for that last two years. Until proven otherwise, I do not expect the trend to change.

I would say:
1. A&M has 50% chance of losing at best.

2. Auburn v. Petrino is very interesting. But with that talent, I give AU a 35% chance of losing.

3. USCe should soundly thrash the basketball school. 25% chance of losing.

4. Bama is the best team two deep in the nation. 20% chance of losing.

Woah, listen. I know SC had a down year last year, we do have a new QB, and with an improved defense it's not like we're going to go from "worst to first" in a single year. But let's pay more attention to UNC.

Want to talk about a bad defense? They gave up 40+ points 6 times last season, including 70 to ECU.

Our total defense was ranked 92nd last year.. theirs was 117, giving up 497.8 ypg.

eta: No doubt, their offense was pretty solid as well. They finished 6-6 like we did but lost their bowl game to Rutgers.
