TAMU is the trendy, ground breaking school, UT is the "classic" school. UT is the epitome of all things traditional Texan. TAMU is bringing Texas some outside influence.

Well then name one original thing texas has ever done besides making a cow a mascot. even the keep austin weird thing is a copy from portland.

I mean, UT grads basically made Texas into what it is today, and I personally think that's a strong testament.

Actually, texas prides themselves on being weird/different, and the anti-Texan type school
Hence their liberal bent. TAMU is more traditional Texan, culture-wise.

Only time I've ever seen the AU one was out in Arizona for the MNC game. Never saw it before, and haven't since.
