Nobody sees any of these in real life except for Gig em and the gator chomp.
The Chomp is fine, it's original and whatnot. Gig em is just yet another blatant Texas ripoff, but everyone out there does it so no harm really.

I live in Bama territory. True, it's not really big here, but Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson in particular used to do it a lot after scoring.
