LSU doesn't suck right now as a program as much as they just plain lack talent

not trying to look at it with purple and gold glasses, i really thing Johnson will get things going in the right direction once he recovers from the mess that Brady left

Historically, I'd vote for Ole Miss. Our basketball program was a steaming pile of poo for years.

It was '83 when we had 'Nique. I don't have the info in front of me, but I THINK we might have beaten a NC team with MJ in the elite 8 that year.

Unlike us, y'all have had some tremendous success in the past.

What's the general consensus on Nolan Richardson now? I remember that situation got REALLY ugly towards the end.

We've won conference titles in multiple conferences and made numerous NCAA tournament appearances just like any other SEC school (outside of UK whose history is on another level compared to other SEC schools) And yes I am aware the times we have gotten into the 'big dance' we have performed poorly but we have been ranked as high as a #2 seed.

If I am not mistaken, South Carolina had some pretty good teams when they were in the ACC......not Final Four caliber, but still pretty good.....

As a program we are second only to Kentucky.

As a team we belong in the bottom of the SWAC.

6 conference titles and 8 NCAA tournament appearances over the entire history of school is really pretty bad.

Ole Miss. Only SEC team with a lifetime record under .500.

I don't know about that.

You haven't done much of anything since Nolan left and didn't do much before he got there, either.......

But you do have a huge facility to be mediocre in......

Who? Arkansas or South Carolina?

Neither has done much of anything since Nolan won the tourney.......

Heck, we have pretty much owned Arkansas for a long time now......
