No thank you. You know there are a lot of guys on this board? As a hetero, I would never invite another guy to come anywhere near my tool.

When I think of QBs and SEC I think of Florida.

Well mizzou's last five are in the NFL, although one isn't playing QB.

Is there a shirt for this? I was told there would be a shirt.

And a bagel.

And of free order of fries

A&M's last 2 QB's were 1st Rounders (Tannehill and Manziel). The 3 prior all played in the league (Jerrod Johnson, Stephen McGee, and Reggie McNeal). With Sumlin as coach you could also argue that if you can start at A&M your chances of playing in the NFL at QB are as good as anyplace in the country.

I've heard several times lately that Gabbert is considered one of the worst QBs in the league. Not starter, but worst overall. That's impressive for a former first round pick.

If we are going by NFL success, that still puts him in the top 1% of college QBs

Bama and Purdue have the most Super Bowl winning QBs. QB U = Bama

I'd say based on just college play and stats and records -
1. Florida 2. Georgia 3. LSU 4. Alabama

As an aside, what SEC programs have produced an NFL HOF QB ? Off the top of my head:

Georgia - Fran Tarkenton
Alabama - Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Ken Stabler
Ole Miss - Charley Conerly ???, (Archie was close)
A&M - Rote???
LSU - Y.A. Tittle, (Bert Jones was close)

Possible future NFL HOF SEC Qbs:
Aaron M, Matt S., Eli, Peyton, and of course,
Zach M.

I don't understand why people only look at how players perform in the pros when judging how well programs develop players. Leak was just as polished and developed as any of these guys. He was just a 5'11" pocket passer without much of an arm.

How would you suggest evaluating how well programs develop athletes for the next level?

Serious question, what ever happened to DJ Shockley? Knew he was a backup for the Falcons for a bit. That was a while ago.

Selling cars?

I think of UF as QB U in the SEC since Spurrier brought the modern passing game to the SEC. However, no NFL success for his system guys.

Answer: None.

Certainly reflective of how poorly SEC QB's do in the NFL. Could have put Cam and Jason for Auburn and might have more starts than all those other guys combined.

You should've added Richard Todd who had a nice career. By the way listening to the radio the other day and someone was speaking about what poor QB's Ohio State had sent to the pros. It was a dreadful list. It has developed into such a demanding position - so much more than just an arm or some other singular characteristic. Think of the money the NFL waste on bad decisions and they spend serious dollars trying to identify "the guy" and they end up with Ryan Leaf.
