Alan Risher after his pro days used to make sales calls on me. He taught me a lot about the reality of what goes on behind the scenes in CFB and NFL.

He took me and a couple other clients to Saints-Packers game. He played as a strike replacement QB for the Packers a few yrs earlier and he could dam near tell you the play when both team lined up on ball...

Like a dumbass I asked why he quit playing pro ball and he said "well, the coach called me over and said they were through paying me..."

What about coaches? Jeremy Pruitt and Kevin Sherrer both currently at UGA coached at Hoover HS when I was a student there. Pruitt taught my strength training class and I had Sherrer for team sports class.

Played against Scott Woerner in high school, he was a pretty good DB at UGA. Yeah, I'm an old frick.

Met former UF and Bears RB Neal Anderson a few times. Really nice guy, retired young from the NFL with both knees intact and saved/invested most of his NFL money. I've seen Emmit Smith a few times...just a genuine guy.

Shane Matthews is kind of a dick but he likes Bama so he gets a pass. Trace Armstrong, former ASU, UF, and Bears DL.

What year did you graduate? I was 09
I was friends with Marlon's older brother Maudrecus Humphrey who played WR at Arkansas. Met their dad legendary Alabama RB Bobby Humphrey once. I forgot about them.

As far other SEC players that came out of Hoover I saw several around school without really knowing them.
Will Lowrey- DB Alabama
Corey Reamer- LB Alabam
Ryan Pugh- OL Auburn
Kerry Murphy- DL Alabama. Had a class with him. 5* HS recruit but troubles kid who was dumb and didn't last long or play at BAMA
John Parker Wilson- QB Alabama. He was before my time at Hoover but his younger brother and sister went there when I did so I saw him around. His brother Ross Wilson was on two-a-days and was a good baseball player for Bama
Neil Caudle- QB Auburn. He went to Spain Park but my dad worked there so I've seen him around.

I read the title too quick and thought it read:

"have you met/known in prison?"

Now that would be interesting...and probably relatable to some people on this site.

Used to chat with Bradie James when he would come into the Foreign Language Lab to do Swahili homework.

Tailgated with David Toms at a Bama game.

Shaq once mumbled something to me across the court at the PMAC during a shoot around.

True story I was locked up in Lee County Jail for 5 days in the summer of 2012. It was right after Antonio Goodwin went on trial and was sentenced, he was a WR at Auburn and one of the 4 AU players arrested for armed trailer robbery. He got hammered and sentenced to like 15 years in prison. He was in a "pod" where they keep prisoners waiting to be transfered to state or federal prison. I was a trustee and served him his lunch one day
Also served the guy who murdered his wife and mother in law in the parking lot of Southern Union CC in Opelika

As you should The crime rate is much lower than in Tuscaloosa and our fans aren't known to react to football losses with murder, violence, and other criminal acts.

I graduated in 2014. I didn't know too many of the football players. I have met Darrell Williams before, but Marlon was the only big recruit that I knew well. My cousin played on the Two A Days team btw

Partied with Ray Hudson after a game which he didn't remember catching a td in Tuscaloosa. Also, in a moment of bad decision taunted Jimmie Johns and his entourage of white girls after we lost to Sylvester Croom in Ttown.

m45auburn, who is your cousin if you don't mind saying on here?

Not sure if you understand these little things called "statistics" and "numbers", I know you're a bama fan after all, but those things tell me that Tuscaloosa absolutely has a higher crime rate than Auburn.

LINK
tuscaloosa: 4.62 violent crimes per 1000 people annually.
52.34 property crimes per 1000 people
Safer than a whopping 6% of cities in the US

LINK

Auburn: 1.96 violent crimes per 1000 people annually.
32.95 property crimes per 1000 people

Again, not sure if you understand "numbers" but the higher the number the more likely you are to be a victim of crime.

Go ahead buddy. I said our fans don't respond to losing football games wirth murder. That's something that an Alabama fan has done in the recent pass.
But by all means, go ahead and show your arse by bringing up something completely unrelated to anything being talked about and prove what a big man you are, POS.

Crime and murder are not being discussed sparky? You introduced both but that Auburn brain can't recall that minor detail. Are you Can Newton by chance? Stay safe.
