Anybody that can't appreciate Laker purple and gold is a damn idiot.
They're the colors of royalty. Anyone saying it's ugly is nothing but a clown.

LSU's colors are Royal Purple and Old Gold.
The helmets we use are Canary yellow, and our football/all sports use that.

Lsu's colors are cool because they go with the culture of Louisiana. They wear the purple and gold, then the field is green so you have all the colors of Mardi Gras. I like that.

Love the LSU colors. Haters will hate or troll since this is an LSU ran site. You see that yellow on TV you know what team it is, yes it is called gold but it is not the same using the typical gold helmets other teams do. They did for a game and it was just terrible. As for whoever said maroon is horrible lets be honest the color is not that much different than crimson. Lame topic. Oregon is much worse, Maryland looks horrible.

If you could only wear school colors to work you would never pick LSU or UT unless you are a pimp, a rapper, or work from home.

You can do both the orange and the yellow with a good button down but you're gonna have a hard time with the royal purple and gold at the same time. However, both can be done -- it just takes a fashionable woman in your life to help you pull it off properly, a real good color sense, or the determination that you don't give a crap if you come off as pimpin'.
