You know what is the best number to show potential of the two programs going forward?

Arkansas has had a grand total of 15 4* and 1 5* recruits the past three years. Seems like that was plenty to kick A&M's arse on a yearly basis.
Over that time frame, Arkansas had a record of 29-10
Over that same time frame, A&M's record was 22-17.
Oh btw, that includes 3 straight victories over A&M.

No, my point re-enforces what the all-time record tells everyone who is not an Arky fan:
At one point Arky was actually a relevant and powerful football program.
Personally I would rather have what A&M has- a shite past and a bright future.
But I guess if I was an Arky fan I would prefer the mediocre past and shite future- you take what you can get!

Assuming this was serious, those are two different questions. As far as national prominence the youngsters may disagree but the answer is clearly Arkansas. The '69 Texas/Arkansas game beats the hell out of any other SWC game ever - at least in my lifetime. As for "more heated", well...
... I think the answer there is also clear.
