Really? Cause we just replaced a coach that had been to a total of 2 BCS bowls with a coach that's been to 4. I don't know about Aggieland, but here in Fayetteville, that's an improvement.

ETA: Petrino went 4-7 in his first season at Arkansas. You see what happened after that. Three straight wins over A&M, BCS bowl, 11-2, top 3 ranking yada yada yada.

The point is that A&M's top 5 finish coach is still in charge of the program's while Arky's is coaching in Kentucky.

Cool. This isn't the Big 10--a fact I fear dear Bo is quickly realizing in recruiting. Of course, we know how Bobo feels about recruiting.

I wonder if Bo wears his Rose bowl rings when sitting in a recruit's living room.

We fired a mediocre coach, then hired the SEC COY. Our grasp on improvement is fairly refined.

Your coach had nothing to do with your top 5 finish.

As soon as JFF walks out that door, A&M is back to the middle of the pack where they've always been.

Well BMFP ain't here, pal. But if you're suggesting 4-7 in year one is a sign of good things to come, what does 11-2 buy us?

You're right. He's only boosted our god-awful recruiting class into the 30's in two months, with another 4 star about to sign, and a GT flip about to visit this weekend. CMFBB put together a top 30 recruiting class in two months. Imagine what he'll do with an entire year.

Nice hedge for when Sumlin beats that arse next year.

Arkansas did in 2011.

1. Mike Sherman definitely had an eye for talent

2. He wouldn't have even gone to your shitty gay school for agriculture if the best program in Texas had offered him as a QB. His dream was always to be a Longhorn.

the hottest coach in America

Yes. You do have the most overrated coach in America. Congrats. Never really done anything impressive in his entire career. His biggest accomplishments are breaking a 20 year Super Bowl drought and getting embarrassed in the C-USA championship game. He accomplished these things while walking into goldmines and never actually recruiting and developing a QB worth a shite.

a top 5 recruiting class

You've pretty much always had good recruiting classes. Never mattered before. Plus your coach is Kevin Sumlin.

The NFL disagrees. But what do they know?

Per Schefter:

quote:

"At least three NFL teams with head-coaching openings inquired about Sumlin, according to league sources. Teams were rebuffed as they checked to see whether he had any interest in talking about an NFL head-coaching job."

Oh, so now ALL of A&M's QB's are going to be the best QB of the generation? Aggie fans are hilarious.

Key word being "year". BB's been the coach for 2 months. I'll try to type a little slower next time.

Sumlin was doing mad work on the trail two months in. Brought in 7 of the 19 kids who made up a top 15 class.

What's bobo doing?

But what about the All-American Jake Matthews and the two other returning starters?

Do they still count as members from last year's OL?

You get to be just like your big brother, Texas. All of the recruiting classes in the world with absolutely nothing to show for it.
