1. Bama murders their 2 opponents while FSU gets m nuked by Georgia.

2. FSU destroys Georgia and Bama gets abused by Michigan?

Each a spectacle. I’d love for one of these to take place.

All Bama has to do is win the first one to cut the chatter. If they replay Texas for a NC then they got what they wanted.

If UGA kills FSU then problem solved as well. If FSU wins, especially in a convincing manner then they have a lot to be pissed about.

#1, considering FSU has caused this through two self-inflicted wounds in their history.

Neither

When Mizzou drags their nuts all over BuckNuts, that will be when the best hilarity will ensue!

Unless half of UGA starters sit out or something wild like that they are gonna steamroll FSU

The heat the SEC took all year for a shitty OOC performance would have nothing on #2 happening.

Bama and Georgia both get bounced? A sub .500 bowl record?

We wouldn’t hear the end of it and rightly so.

A convincing manner would be a 10+ point win... and that means they would have to score 10 points. I don't see that happening.

Honestly, FSU will have to take the beating like men... or they will have to organize some sort of embarrassing sit-out to give themselves an excuse.

Which one do you think is most likely?

1. Refusing to join the SEC because they felt the ACC was an easier path (so a much weaker SOS)

2. Refusing to expand the playoffs to 12 for this season.

They were left out because their quarterback got injured, not because of a weaker SoS

Fair - the reason given by the committee makes less sense than simply saying they played a shite schedule.

But then again, the committee's biggest take is to avoid another TCU situation. If anything, FSU can blame Michigan for not pulling out the game against TCU. They seemed better suited to give a decent game for Georgia.

FSU has been on the other side.

Facts about FSU's 1993 National Championship:

- FSU lost head-to-head to Notre Dame on November 13th but ND, w/same record was excluded

- WVU was undefeated in regular season, but denied a chance to play for the title in favor of FSU who had a loss.

- Danny Kannel's ring is flawed.

Let's take off our purple and gold flashy vagina glasses and look at some facts for a second. Something your homer, Booger McFarland, refused to do as he made a fool of himself this weekend.

"They were left out because their quarterback got injured, not because of a weaker SoS"

So let's objectively look at FSU's record for a second
Game 1 LSU - WON (final record 9-3)
Game 2 USM - WON (final record 3-9)
Game 3 Boston COllege - WON (final record 6-6)
Game 4 CLemson WON (final record 8-4)
Game 5 Virg. Tech WON (final record 6-6)
Game 6 Syracuse WON (final record 6-6)
Game 7 Duke WON (final record 7-5)
Game 8 Wake WON (final record 4-8)
Game 9 Pitt WON (final record 3-9)
Game 10 Miami WON (final record 7-5)
Game 11 UNA WON (final record 3-9)
Game 12 FLA WON (final record 5-7)
Game 13 Louisville WON (final record 10-3)

This is a total of 77 wins over 80 losses, with higher percentage of teams with a losing record. If you look at their conference overall, it is pretty abysmal. Anyone who thinks the committee used just the "QB equation" in their decision, is simply deluding themselves. Texas had one loss, to OK by less than a TD, and Bama had one loss to that team, but them beat the #1 team in the country.
