UGA didnt have the run game to isolate the receivers in 2011 and 2012. but we were afforded it last season as Murray was able to go Mad Bomber because the safeties were pre-occupied with Gurley.
Seriously. some of the others need to check out Tebow's over the top throws. the receivers arent worried about the safeties getting over in time because they are pre-occupied with Timmy. and that is despite Tebow's delivery and arm strength.

If you think AJ will have similar support you are nuts. Other than LSU Bama can manhandle teams with with any QB. He will not have that advantage in that in the NFL - I don't know what you are smoking. See Tebow. Wide open WRs pitch and catch.
That being said I see AJ as back up and I see JFF as not making it or he will be a superstar.

Finding the plays is the hard part. it is very easy to google cut up youtube to find a free program that allows you to cutup other videos.
I watched 2 cips for AJ. I only remember 1 red zone throw where he muscled it between three defenders (went to either a tight end, HBack, or large slot receiver that drifted over the middle in between a lot of defenders. Very strong/nice throw. but one a lot of college qbs could make). the others were a lot of wide open wr screens and receivers running without tight coverage (either AJ picks apart the zones real well or there was man coverage with nobody in the hip pocket).

He doesn't need similar support, he just needs a solid running game and one good WR. Give him that and he'll have a good rookie year, if the team also has a decent defense. I don't think he needs all of those tools. Peyton Manning is gonna be throwing to Thomas, Decker, and Welker this year, but we're fools if we hold it against him. Npt even counting that top five OL they've got and the decent group of RBs. Plus Denver has a good defense. No one holds it against Manning. Like I said, floor of Campbell, ceiling of Ryan with a better deep ball.

Who knows, there isn't a talent gap in the NFL like there is in CFB. A coach or player can be great in college and not do much at next level. The good thing is AJ should be drafted in 1st or 2nd round and get a very serious look with a team, wish him well. Maybe if he's fortunate enough to get on a Coughlin/NYG type team he may do very well. JFF? I couldn't hazard a guess right now.

Jamarcus was great in games when LSU was faster than the other team. But in games with little separation (AU and UF), not so good. I think Al Davis had early onset when he drafted him #1.

I'm just looking for the types of tight windows that he will face in the NFL.
To find that type of window, i would guess that you would need to search the more NFL talented opponents. but who knows. wow me.

Personally... it seems like a huge stretch to compare AJ to Matt Ryan (is he 6'4"?)
But what do I know. I saw Matt Ryan as a 5th year QB who threw 19 INTs and had several picks dropped that season. and he was surrounded by a better running game than what Murray had in 2011.
Maybe he can aspire to be that good.

Mccarron = Patrick Ramsey/JP Losman, drafted high given a shot to start, but will fall short. IMO

I really dont get all the McCarron love. He's good, but nothing special. JFF is the better passer and his running game sets him apart even further.

#1 He needs a good O-line
#2 One good WR won't cut it. You have to have more than one threat in the NFL. One good receiver gets doubled and he is taken out of the game.

Interesting comparison. That could work. KPA from the 49ers and Wilson are being used a lot as comparisons but I look at Wilson as the hard and fast exception to the rule. And as such, you can't have PO many exceptions or they are no longer so.
Wilson may drop off a bunch and JFF may never get to that level. AJ who may have a lower ceiling, is the more NFL ready.

McCarron has been fortunate to play on great teams going all the way back into high school. IMO, his experience NFL won't be any different. But if he got drafted by a shitty team by some odd chance, we'd find out more about him.
he is usually throwing to WR's who are wide arse open at Alabama. Most of the time the defense is getting riddled by the play fakes and the run heavy tendencies of the Bama offense. Most NFL defenses try and disguise the coverage they are running these days...seems like AJ will have a decent learning curve ahead.
