I saw it at least 2-3 times. I also saw a ansu, or whatever the douche's name is. They were out in force a few hours ago.

I'd be gone from here too if this site wasn't my outdoor smoking entertainment. They took a beating from every team from the rant.

This line from Ole Miss confuses me. What is the SEC scared of? Yall have been to the SEC title game the same number of times as Harvard. When you last won the SEC Obama wasn't born.

I'm sure this board is overstating the penalties you'll receive, but can you concede that Rebel fans are overstating any fear the SEC has of your program?

I'm not really surprised although I don't think this manifests into anything significant.

USC and Boise?

You are of the misinformed notion that a coach or AD no longer being there will somehow protect the university. You'd be, as stated, misinformed. I'm quite sure the gift cards and cheddar bay biscuits weren't in a grab box after practice, but were given by boosters associated with the university. Did Ole Miss self report the boosters giving the players all these things and ban them from any contact? If not, that shows a lack of institutional control. You guys are in denial bigger than shite.

Have you seen the rant? 4 pages of nothing but OM shite for 5 secondary violations in football. All of which have had self imposed penalties already. 4 pages. This doesn't start 75 different threads if OM wasn't only behind OSU and Bama in top 25 wins the past two seasons with even more talent coming in.

Edit: I love how the NCAA hired our compliance officer last week to head up their academic fraud department, while we are also losing institution control. Makes perfect sense.

Apparently you are clueless as to what lack of institutional control really means and does. Doesn't matter what people were working there at the time or are now, doesn't matter if it had nothing at all to do with football itself, doesn't matter if it was years ago.

The rant picks on low hanging fruit. You were in the news today, the rant will over react to you today. Nothing more nothing less.

You're still completely hopeless Ole Miss. Don't worry.

I hate to say it, but I think Bama is to blame on this one. It's the same damn thing that happened with Texas A&M. They beat Bama, proceed to become completely delusional, and begin to think they're elite and are feared by the rest of the conference. When in reality, they haven't done shite but pull of an upset of a championship team.

Win something first. Then the rest of the conference won't laugh at you when you act like your balls are the size of cantaloupes.

Did you see the number of posts this afternoon? The tards came out of the woodwork. 20 new threads every 5 minutes. That's more than Gameday. The fear was very palpable and made me laugh my arse off knowing only sports that I don't care about will suffer.

The extent of my knowledge is simply reading that one article that said If there is proof that there are not systems in place to prevent this from happening, then the institution loses its control. The NCAA thought our compliance officer does such a good job that they gave him a job. I don't see how we could be under threat of losing institutional control if our compliance department is so well thought of. I guess they hired the best cheater to catch the rest. Kinda of a catch me if you can with the NCAA. Maybe they can make a movie out of it

But please inform me more if I am off.

Look I want a title just as much as the next guy but if our "hopeless" bottom is New Years 6 Bowl while improving our talent...If that's hopeless, hey, I can live with that

You are assuming the compliance office knew of all the wrongdoings and addressed them and reported them. It doesn't appear that is the case. Had that been the case, then yes, it shows institutional control. Not knowing what was happening (not necessarily allowing it to happen by the compliance department), and having it be brought to attention by the NCAA is what causes lack of institutional control charges. Not sure that this will be the case, but as I said, it is certainly a possibility, a very real one as well if you look into the USC and Boise cases. Most of the heavy charges with them came from other sports just as in this case.

That's not fear, that's an "I told you so". We all knew this was going to happen to OM and all the time we were telling you guys it was coming but all you all said was stupid baggy frat boy bullshite phrases about how you all are "to big to be taken down".

You should be able to find him on the Help board wanting all the SECRANT posters to have a Post Quality Review.

So much win in this rambling, incoherent, grammatically mangled, window into your feeble little brain.

Keep it up AshLSU. Eventually, people will start to believe what we've been saying about your fan base for years now.
