Ansu started a thread today. It's just hard to find in the Ole Miss extravaganza. All Ole Miss all the time. There is zero chance the Vols get the off season championship now.

Most of us a celebrating the revelations in the NCAA letter. Apparently, we leaked it in order to put to rest all these crazy allegations. Such a relief to hear that the NCAA looked at the program over a period of 6 years. And the only things they came up with is a handful of secondaries during the Nutt era, and the Tunsil deal which has already been handled.

What can they say? We know more about our own program than y'all do. We actually followed the recruiting of our players. We know more about this situation. We can quote all the national reporters saying this is nothing all we want, it's not going to change the rant right now. The fear is palpable

Denial? We'll finish in the top 5 to 10 in recruiting anyway and get slapped on the wrist for football. Our women's basketball and track and field teams might be screwed though and that really is heart breaking.

Do you guys understand that when it is more than one team, they don't just punish a couple teams harshly. It gets into an area know as lack of institutional control. This isn't me trying to troll and flame. I haven't been trying to troll on this. But some of you are clueless on what the possibilities are, even if football has little to do with this at all.

Can you give an example of the ncaa using institutional control? I'd love to compare it to our situation. Especially if there are examples of a completely different AD and coach committing tne infractions
Edit: I love how the NCAA hired our compliance officer last week to head up their academic fraud department, while we are also losing institution control. Makes perfect sense.
