Live in Birmingham but grew up in west Alabama watching the Saints on TV out of Meridian, MS. The 2009 season will hard to beat with Alabama and the Saints winning championships. Only downer was that my dad died during the season. I'm not sure which championship he would've enjoyed the most.

I thought AL was waaaaayy more Falcons than Saints.

Same here I'm actually kinda surprised. Must be cause people in Alabama like cheering for winners and we all know that isn't the Falcons.

Waaaaaayyyy more Cowboy fans in AZ than Cardinals. When the cowboys were in the same division it was the only game with a big crowd.

Map really does not tell a true story. So much orange, so little population.

The Panthers have been kinda half-assed about being SC's team. When they're good, much of the Upstate and Midlands loves them. When they suck, the NFL is largely ignored.

That's about right. Living in Bham, I don't know a single soul who roots for the Falcons. Most here are Saints fans.

When I lived in Alabama (late 80's and 90's) there were not many NFL fans in general, but the ones I saw tended to be more Falcons than Saints.

I imagine when the Saints won the SB that led to a lot of likes on FB from pretty casual fans.

There is that pocket of true bandwagoner Alabama/Cowboy fans in there.

What is that...Lawrence County?

It looks like the Huntsville area. There are people from everywhere there because of NASA.
