It won't happen. But fans would support it. People fail to realize B'ham had great support for the USFL before the team started sucking. Hell, they opened up the second deck at legion field for the Lighting before they started losing every game.
ETA:
Looked it up. Bham was 4 of 14 in attendance the last two years of the USFL.

You're surprised a non-NFL state doesn't have a unanimous favorite
Not surprising South Carolina mostly supports the Panthers.
Somewhat surprising so many would support the Jaguars though.
Here's the article that has maps blown up by region.

What? That Texans coverage area might be small, but they likely have close to the same amount of people in the entire Saints coverage.

I'm pretty sure those yellow counties are Pittsburgh fans, there are a lot of them here...in Columbia anyways. It looks like the shade of yellow matches Pittsburgh rather than Jacksonville.

You are correct.

South Carolina is very confused. Parts of the state root for the Panthers, Steelers, Cowboys, and Falcons.

Sucks being in FW with all the Cowboys fans. I'm a Houston fan, but care more about my fantasy team.

Poor Texans
Forbes has the Texans listed as the 5th most valuable NFL franchise.
quote:
5. Houston Texans
Team value: $1.85 billion
Revenue 2013: $339 million
Operating income 2013: $103 million
The Texans' stadium was re-branded as NRG Stadium this year after the parent company of Texas-based electric retailer, Reliant Energy, which previously had its name on the building.
The Jets, who don't rate higher than any NFL team in any county (because of the Giants, no doubt) came in at 6th on the Forbes list.
The Saints are 23rd on the list. Jacksonville is 29th.
Dead last on the list are the St. Louis Rams.

Lol no. Ever since Ingram went to LA, it's been all Saints.
There's been a huge contingent of Saints fans in Birmingham for years. Fans from Mobile can be seen at the Dome for every home game as well.

God there is nothing more annoying than spending all day saturday hating people from Alabama and Mississippi, then having to drive back from an away games and seeing all the saints gear.
Mississippi I don't mind that much, but Alabama please stop bandwagoning and go be a Falcons fan or something
