I'm not saying Johnny is a great coach, but by no means is he a bad coach. He had North Texas in the tourney twice. Had a span of 5 years where he won 20+ games. We are missing our leader and another starter in Victor. This team is starting 4 new people right now. Had they had another 3-4 games before they played Marquette and NC St, I think they would have won. Simmons needs to be more of scorer. He can take people all day.

As far as last year, expectation was first or second round. We should have beat Nc St, but it wasn't a matter of coaching. M&M had no breaks and they just got worn out. Had Johnny O stayed last year, that team would have been in the elite 8
