I have no doubt.

I get it, people are going to see what they want to see on this issue I guess. The complaint used to be that Alabama doesn't get penalized and its opponents were heavily penalized. When that argument wasn't supported by the facts it became, well the officials have now conspired to penalize Alabama more and its opponents less (in fact less than any other team's opponents in the country) but to do it in a way that still helps Alabama. This conspiracy is getting quite sophisticated.

Fact is that there are wrong calls in every game, but the loser of the game is the one that is going to focus on the one's that allegedly went against them. Alabama fans do the same thing when they lose but that isn't happening a lot lately. The winner is celebrating, not complaining about calls that didn't go their way. Way it will always be I suppose.

love that opponents have resigned themselves to pre-game melting about the officiating (despite continued mounting evidence that Alabama is far more penalized than its opponents).

Alabama doesn't get nearly the flags that they should. Most people watching the games know that Alabama should be flagged even more than they are. So complain about Bama being flagged more than their opponents all you want. The point is they are never penalized on a scoring play or a game changing play. But their opponents always seem to be flagged at the key moments of the game. The referees are not mind readers so they can't know exactly what play is going to be a deciding factor in the game. But it sure is convenient for Bama all the damn time.

Alabama dominated UT in large part because it knows how to attack a team's weakness and UT was decimated on defense and had so many areas to attack. Plus Dobbs was essentially no threat in the passing game. People are overreacting to that win by Alabama in what was a terrible matchup for UT.

Texas A&M is more talented and matches up better with Bama (despite the fact that couldn't put UT away in regulation despite all those UT turnovers). The matchup is just different, A&M is healthy and doesn't have a bunch of backups playing that will be overwhelmed by Alabama's talent.

I think the teams will trade punches for most of the game and Alabama wins. Maybe not within one score but Alabama doesn't cover.
Great analysis. I'm looking for a really good/hard fought game in absolutely perfect football weather. Tailgating early - good food - good bourbon - good game.

I get pissed that we have so many stupid penalties. Saban's teams used to be very disciplined and now they commit more penalties than ever.

But what the frick do you want us to do? Bama gets flagged more than the opponent, and still wins a large majority of the time.

Then how does a team that led the nation in sacks in 2015, and leads the SEC in sacks this year only have five holds called against the opposition in 22 games?

Maybe if their opponents were holding more, Alabama wouldn't be getting all those sacks?

Cool story bro! Of course it's actually the opposite of reality. You sure you aren't running for office somewhere?
