Every bammer quarterback to play in the NFL finished with more interceptions than touchdowns with the exception of Bart Star and AJ McCarron.

Yet 2 of the ones with more INTs than TDs are in the Hall of Fame...

Different era as far as the pre-80's go...the DBs could hit the WRs all down the field until the ball was in the air...the QB was just another player and wasn't protected near as much as today. Not to mention that more of the passing game back then consisted of downfield throws as opposed to all the bubble screens/rubs/jet sweeps you see today...

Lot of great QBs in that era that had more INTs than TDs that are in the Hall of Fame: Sammy Baugh, Bob Waterfield, Bobby Layne, Norm Van Brocklin, Y.A. Tittle, and George Blanda. Terry Bradshaw, my favorite, had just 2 more TDs than INTs. The rules today are much more favorable to the QB and the passing game...

Yet quarterbacks like Unitas, Staubach, Tarkenton, Griese, and Bradshaw all finished with more touchdowns than interceptions playing in the same era

Bammer quarterbacks have won a combined two games since 1987. Cam won 17 games last year alone

You mean Cam got carried by one of the best teams in the league to 17 wins When he faced a real defense he got exposed

Is an Auburn fan really talking smack about players from other schools in the Pro Football HoF? Isn't Kevin Greene the only AU player in the Hall?

Yet the Hall of Fame selected 2 Bama alum QBs with more INTs than TDs...so I'm guessing they thought that regardless they were peers and belonged in the same company as the ones you mentioned. You're the only one I've seen that equates a Hall of Fame career with failure...

Is Cam Newton 's shitty performance in the biggest game of his life still have you rattled?

I guess the defense carried Cam to the MVP as well.

Congrats on your team's accomplishment Phan. Soon the all-controlling REC will destroy Cam as well.

Sorry bout it

He was a game-manager. Think about 2011 AJ McCarron. With the help of a great defense, strong running game, and great coaching the team overcame average receivers to win 90% of their games. Cams season was practically identical. Hell at least AJ stepped up in the championship game

Why Joe Namath is in the Hall of Fame is a total mystery to me.
It's the Hall of Fame, not the Hall of Great Stats or Hall of Great Achievements or Hall of Great Winners.

Nice to know a game manager is 2nd in touchdown passes, probably top 5 or 10 in rushing touchdowns, and first in total combined touchdowns. This is playing on a team that was top 5 in highest number of dropped passes, including at least 5 or 6 touchdown passes dropped

Did you miss AJ McCarron's 2012 stats?

#1 QB Rating
#1 in TD to INT ratio (30 to 3)
#2 Yards per Attempt
#17 Completion %

Seems like a solid comparison. Either AJ was a playmaker or Cam is a fellow game manager.

Did Auburn ever get that drunk arse vulture to stop trying to fly through glass windows?

For reference I am asking about the eagle, not Pat Dye.
