auburn lsu game was going on during the texas ou game so there was some splitting of views there.

UT/ Bama, of course.
LSU is a pezzonovante that thinks it's important but has yet to "make its bones".

Wonder if TV execs are at least discussing the fact that Bama blows the doors off any team they play each week...They still will draw for sure, but can they continue to hold the audience.
I think they will this week because people will love to watch Butch and Team 120-whatever get blown out.

I can't see how this game isn't a blowout of truly titanic proportions. Bama beat UT last year 49-10 in KNOXVILLE, and Tennessee was regarded as a pretty good team last year. This year's game is in TUSCALOOSA, and the gap between the two teams has grown to a gaping chasm.

Nobody nationally thinks anyone else in the SEC is nationally relevant outside of Georgia and Alabama.
So, a game between #24 LSU and unranked Ole Miss is going to draw very few eyeballs outside of Missisippi and Louisiana. Same logic applies to most SEC games in 2017.
How many of you are dying to watch Michigan State/Indiana? Washington State/Colorado? Virginia Tech/North Carolina? That's how people outside the South see LSU/Ole Miss.

This is such a "look at me, I'm relevant!" thread that I'm surprised it wasn't started by an LSU fan.
The answer is always Alabama. People like watching history.

Absolutely no one is interested in LSU vs Ole Miss. Even LSU fans.
Does your fandom disease not manifest itself in having to watch your team no matter what? I can't help it. The entire state populations of LA and MS will be watching.

Alabama for 15 minutes, then pick any other game.

No it wasn't, more of a thought that Alabama destroying teams all the time would leave to down ratings.

You don't note obvious hyperbole do you?
LSU education.

You just making stuff up to make you feel better?
Alabama game had 1.5 million more viewers, sorry

OM vs. LSU will be more competitive. OM will put points on the board and it will drive the Tiger fans nuts.
I will laugh like hell if OM wins.

Hyperbole.
LSU. What a great school.

I don't think you could be any more wrong. I'm pretty sure people get bored watching Bama dominate every opponent. LSU and ole miss should be a competive game.

BAMA/UT - The UT and BAMA fanbases dwarf OM+LSU (OM too small). Plus BAMA is ranked no. 1. AND we've got the whole "Butch gonna get fired" deal oing on. People will 'drama view.'
That said, I expect a lot of channel hopping.

I'll do the same thing I do for any Bama game, I keep up or watch until they're 21 points ahead. I expect it won't take too long today.

Watching Bama/UT would be a complete waste of my time today, no thank you.
