A&M Florida game was the highest ratings game all year on ESPN this year...at the same time Bama played. So I guess they aren’t always...

Bama and UT.

Absolutely no one is interested in LSU vs Ole Miss. Even LSU fans.

Bama at least has the Fire Butch theory and people like watching Bama. Dominate teams pump up the ratings.

You must not be a big cfb fan. If LSU is playing on TV my arse is in my living room chair watching from beginning to end. Why would we not care avout the game? Do you not watch Florida games against teams you think Florida will beat?

Bama/Ole Miss was the third highest rated game of their week after two two broadcast network games (VT/Clemson and Georgia/Tennessee). The competitiveness of the game will have very little effect on the overall TV ratings.

A&M/Florida was on ESPN2 and it didn't have higher ratings or more viewers than Bama/Arkansas.

People will tune in for the weekly 15 min of media incest on Bama/whoever and then turn to something else. If ESPN shows lots of Ole Miss Hotties in the stands they will keep a good audience...
