Hard to decide. Both are about equal to me, but I will go A&m.

Arkansas and it's not even debatable. Did I do that right?

no what you need is some reasoning that will attract people to argue with you. Then when someone picks the most obvious counter point to your reasoning have some mind blowingly awesome way of making them look stupid. Once the person replying posts their 3 paragraph response where they call you names and all sorts of fowl things you should then post a u mad meme and leave the thread... that is how you do it right.

we've been in the SEC the last 20 years and we were the 2nd best team in the SWC when we were in it, not AM

Arkansas. They have a NC right? Game over

A&M has one in the poll era and a legit claim to one before the poll era.

How is this even a question? Was Bear Bryant ever the coach at Arkansas? Debate over.

Exactly. Programs that we now consider to be bad (Aggy, Minnesota, Princeton, etc...) all won NCs in that era that nobody gives a frick about.

Why is that meaningless? Arkansas' one "NC" also came before integration (of football, at least).

It was a different time, yes. Arkansas' NC came a different time, too. Neither team has been all that successful (in terms of championships) in the post-integration era. Neither team has been successful in the BCS era.

So what, exactly, is your point?

And people give a frick about 1964? I mean ... I do, but I consider myself something of a cfb historian.

That's a nice picture telefawx, how many of those 43 touchdowns did he manage against LSU? I know he tried throwing some touchdowns to the wrong team.

Trying to compare TAMU's weak conference accolades to an SEC team. Brilliant.
