So there's a vote to choose the logo of the new "College Football Playbook".

LINK

Someone cheated and chose the worst logo of them all...

From CFP Facebook

quote:

Our contractor running the logo vote has informed us that it has caught a cheater with an IP address in Austin, TX who cast 50,251 votes for logo number four, in violation of our contest rules. While we're pleased to know how popular our site is, this individual's IP address has been blocked and all his votes have been removed from logo four's tally.

As a result, the correct, updated tally shows logo one has 26%, logo two has 38%, logo three has 27% and logo 4 has 9%, with more than 60,000 votes having been cast in less than 24 hours.

They could be worse. Anybody remember when the University of California tried to change their logo to this?

I've spent a few minutes studying this now and I can't even decide which is the worst. This is like a who's hottest except with a bunch of fugly chicks. Deciding which is most fugly is just beyond me.

Maybe, they were planning on having it replace the old logo for most things.

Dooley defended the contemporary logo, which was designed by an in-house team and started appearing six months ago. Critics had latched onto "an unfortunate and false narrative, which framed the matter as an either-or choice between a venerated UC seal and a newly designed monogram," he said. The graphic would not have replaced the official seal on diplomas or official letterhead, but was meant to bring a more modern look to websites and publications in UC's fundraising, recruiting and public affairs campaigns. The symbol was accompanied by the text "University of California," a fact its critics ignored, officials complained
