Not a gump. Just can see that if UA isn't playing a full back at QB, they walk away with this game.

Look I just explained what happened to our best d ever, we got hurt by injuries in places we were thin at. You can't take away your second biggest playmaker and the experoenced guy who makes the calls for the d and still be the same. It showed for anyone who cared to look before this game, mo Smith transferring away pre season too and we just were kinda thin at the position as a result. 2016 is still an amazing defense but in the end susceptible in the secondary if we don't get pressure, particularly after Eddie jackson went dow.

That '05 Texas and USC game was MUCH more hyped. Probably had a significantly larger audience due to the star power that existed in that game. Vince Young's performance will be remembered more IMO. I think those USC teams were every bit as hated as present day Bama.

Ya he was not stoppable and with no dog in the fight, that still may be my favorite championship game. Vince in the 4th quarter did it all. And cam is can is cam, I hate saying it but the dude was a freak and his year I'm college was amazing.j

So before the game Clemson wasn't ready for the Bama defense but after the Bama defense has a million excuses...typical.
The lead up was the Bama defense felt disrespected, they were being told they couldn't beat Clemson, and they were going to show last year was a fluke..
So what does Watson do? Only the single greatest performance in national championship history with a walk-off TD
