Where would the SEC rank over the past 15 years without Saban/Alabama?

Big shoes to fill in Tuscaloosa

Fortunately for the once mighty SEC, reinforcements are on the way

LSU and Georgia would each have another 2-3 Titles. Florida 09 as well.

Well, that's not a certainty. No Saban at Bama and likely no Smart at UGA.

LSU develops differently.

Urban may have stayed at UF much longer with more NCs.

Iron sharpens iron, and Saban had a profound impact on the conference. That said, if he were never there, who knows who (who all) rise to the top. But I do know the SEC would be very competitive nonetheless.

UGA and UF would have carried the SEC IMO. Without Saban, LSU is completely different as well. Like another poster said, Meyer would probably have stayed if not for Saban.

UGA was also very competitive before Kirby so I think they would have won a couple if Saban had never come to the SEC.

Agree here as well. The only health issues Les Miles could have caused anyone is a CoEd who forgot to take her birth control.

Probably similarly, LSU, Florida, and Georgia would just have more national championships.

Georgia would have won in 2012 pre-Smart. That was a really good team.
