The real question is how does MSU fare against Samford, West Alabama, or North Alabama?

Those could be tossups and you could have MSU out of the top 10 at that point.

State still comes in ahead of Samford, just edging out the other Bulldogs.
Objectively MSU is also ahead of Jacksonville State, although there's not much h2h evidence to compare.

It's always disappointing to lose a 1 run game.

Really though the fact that Iowa is even still playing ball in June is exciting
