People that are saying LSU's defense will be closer to 08 than 11 are NUTS. Chavis is the best defensive coordinator in the nation outside of Saban. His defense will be well coached as usual unlike that co-coordinator mess in 08.

We also signed a consensus top five class in 13, which I believe is every bit as good on the d-line as the 09 class that produced Montgomery, Mingo, Logan and Brockers. Sure there's a bit of a learning curve, but these are d-lineman that all can rush the passer and these guys are physically ready to play from day one. Herron, Beckwith, Lacouture, Bower, Neal, Gilmore, Bain and Patterson are top to bottom, the deepest and probably most talented d-line class in the country.

Our linebacking core will be better than any in the SEC except maybe bama, and definitely the fastest, IMO.

All dbs return from last season except Reid and Simon but we brought in the next great LSU cb Tredavious White.

Result: The LSU defense will be every bit as nasty as it has been the last few years because more playmakers usually = better.

Will we win every game? Maybe not but I sure as hell wouldn't be surprised if we did; and if we don't, it's not going to be because of the defense.

Is it a consensus that they lose 3 games this year?

yes, the rules have changed and we now vote to determine football records instead of actually playing the games. LSU is gonna surprise some of these voters.

TCU returns 9 starters on Defense, so we should find out about LSU's Offense early on.

I can see us starting 5-10. If Cam can get Mett to hit the deep pass. We going to da ship but we dont go undefeated with our schedule.

Mett has a shitty work ethic, it's a sure thing his foot work will not get any better. He doesn't like to put the time in.
QB: -B/C+
WR:B+
O-Line:A
RB:B
D-Line:B
LB:A
CB:A
S:-B

We lose to someone we shouldn't like Ole Miss or Auburn but beat all the big dogs. The D play will be better, we have way more speed and size.

You a coach? If not, how do you get this info?

I hate people on this board who try to talk specifics like they know shite about day-to-day stuff with their team.

Mett should be OK. Looked like shiite until the Bama game, then couldn't miss. Played better the last part of the season.

I predict #12. But with our schedule, it would be a major accomplishment to get into the Top Ten.

This is almost gump level bad. You will have a .500 or worse record against A&M, Alabama, Florida and Georgia.

One of these does not belong.

Ole Miss is more a concern next year than A&M.
