i agree SC played better. but Duke was so tight due to the crowd.

North Carolina fans didn't have anything to do with that either.

don't care. most of that was prior to 3 point line most likely.

ok again a 7 seed should not be playing a post season game in their home state. it was an unearned advantage. i agree SC played better. but Duke was so tight due to the crowd.

Coach K and a lot of those Duke players have played in some of the most hostile environments across the country. I seriously doubt several thousand Gamecock fans threw one of the greatest coaches in the game and a roster with All-Americans and future NBA players off their game. Coach K said that South Carolina's defense was the best defense his team has played all year and he never mentioned or complained about the game being in Greenville.

Needed a handicap?

Dunking was outlawed due to Lew and still couldn't slow the Bruins down. Like Bama football. Unlike fly by night Clemson.

said Duke has great players and COach K is good coach doesn't mean SC deserved home court advantage as a 7 seed. you are trying to rationalize something that wasn't fair or earned.

Clemson has 2 natties 35 years apart. not really fly by night when you winning in two differetn decades.

in pre-BCS era, Clemson wins last year too as only regular season undefeated.

I'd say that crowd vs Duke was:

60% rowdy South Carolina fans.
15% North Carolina fans that were remaining that woke up and started cheering against Duke.
25% Duke fans.

And if you watched the games in New York, there were a lot of South Carolina fans there, although it was not quite as strong as South Carolina. They're just excited about their team.

Arizona will be closer to 50/50...I think. But folks are really excited.

35 is 15 outside of the 20 you stated. The rope a dope...the dope becomes you.

Your argument is sad. You say Duke (2 seed) got scared and lost as a result. Oregon was a 3 and played a road game in KC. I was at the game and it was 95% ku crowd.

Your argument is that the crowd scared Duke. frick that. By your logic Oregon should have got their arse kicked.

no b/c i'm not saying ACC is best conf simply based on UNC beating Kentucky or if UNC wins it all. i'm basing it on rankings of all the teams which is based on SOS and SOR.
