Where SEC Alums Live

This is a list based on each schools linkedin profile and looks at those from each school who "attended" through 2010. 2010 is used because it filters out most of the kids still on campus (which bumps up the college town and doesn't give a true listing). Keep in mind, these are "metro areas", so for instance the Ole Miss folks living in "Florence, AL" probably actually live in Northeast Mississippi somewhere.

In parentheses is the total "alums" of each school, which is pretty interesting as well.

I think Tuscaloosa includes the Golden Triangle in Mississippi. So it actually includes Starkville itself, or at the very least Columbus, MS.

The ratio of alums to non-alums that I run into into Atlanta is astronomically higher than other places I've been.

Of course, I live ITP and mostly work ITP. I'm sure it's different out in the burbs and even past that.

That number for A&M former students is low. It's closer to 250,000.

Yea, obviously not all of them are going be on linkedin and it doesn't include folks who started in 2011-2017.
