Look at our last 5 games compared to our first 7

Ok, lets throw out GSU and GT, and the first 7 (just to appease), that leaves FL, OM, and AU. Florida is 101st in total offense out of 120 Div 1 teams. AU is 115th, and OM is 41. Dude, I don't have anything to work with here. Your front 7 sucks. Admit it.

Dude you're fricking high if you believe our front 7 sucks. If that's your view I can't even argue with you because of your entire premise is so stupid it's not worth it.

ETA: watch games. It's clear you haven't watched us play much.

I don't care about rushing Defense. I care more about scoring defense. Yards don't beat you, points do. 16th in the nation ppg against @ 17.7 .

Nah, they're Mutts :punintended:

A little bit of Turkic, Armenian, and now extinct tribes from the Caucasus. Obviously Slavic has rubbed off on them culturally due to Russian influence.

That's not the point of this thread. Op was saying our front 7 sucks. Not comparing it to Bama's.

I know Bama is 1st in Scoringg Defense congrats! The offenses Bama played, outside of Tamu, are not very high on ppg. I was referring to the OP

I wish under the list of RA things you can choose from there was an option that says "Because OP made a stupid arse thread."

I know it's not the point of the thread. The OP was saying your front 7 suck in relation to rushing defense. The other UGA poster made note of scoring defense is what he cares about and I was simply replying that Alabama is better there too.

Yeah, the point of the thread is UGA's front 7 sucks. I don't see anything except talk to say different. Where's your evidence that they don't? Not being in the top 50 for rush defense is pretty damning. Ok, scoring defense is 17th. That's not bad. Its not ready for a NC but pretty decent.

Well since you're showing your ignorance by simply looking at stats and clearly haven't seen film, then you will be surprised on Saturday.

I amazed how difficult this simple concept is for some people. No Georgia is not the best defense against the run in college football. However, they are very good and much better than stats imply.

Not only did UGA have suspensions but they were big ones. One is projected by many as a top 20 pick in the NFL draft next season. The other was an All-American. Combine that with the fact that Jones was hobbled during a large span...a guy who many think is the NFL's top prospect this season.

You should also consider how many players had to play out of position to feel the gaps of the missing players. As a result, when the players returned they were playing in their normal position for the first time as well.

Georgia's first 16 players on defense are as good as any in college football. However, because of low scholarship numbers (65 I believe). For UGA they go from a safety All-American to a walk in.

Georgia has been able to avoid injuries in all of but two spots (LB,WR) but those were their deepest positions.

Can we start banning UGA and Bama fans that call out the lack of difficulty in the others' schedule?

They are both sad. You both are good teams. You are playing for the SECCG. Just fricking stop.

Lol. Had an opportunity to do some writing/research for reputable publications. They are not fond of me posting on too many message boards.
