There were several other examples of Mike Evans coming down with the ball in traffic....

Yeah my post made it seem like it happened a few times every game which obviously isn't the case

I specifically remember the most JFF play ever during the Bama @ A&M game where Evans caught a prayer thrown by Johnny

Evans had 279 yards receiving against Bama in 2013. He was legit. Also had 287 and 4 TDs in the Auburn game that year.

He's at the very bottom, between Alshon Jeffrey and fat Alshon Jeffrey.

He doesnt even belong in the conversation for great SEC receivers. Games against Bama don't make you great. He was decent on a team with a great OL.

You mad about Eddie Lacy being on the Bert cheese diet?

Maybe even with Alshon, but well below the rest.

Also below Donte Moncrief and Sammie Coates

Beckham
Cooper (killing it as a rookie)

I'd swap Beckham and Green.

Yall serious with this?? Green is definitely better than Beckham, if for nothing else time in the league... And Green has better stats than Julio. If I were picking I would take Green first for sure.

Rough order

Jones
Beckham
Cooper
Green

Treadwell - Evans- Matthews.

( 3 Will be the same eventually after the same amount of NFL experience)

Cobb
Jeffrey
Landry
Harvin

I think a lot of people would be surprised if they knew how many LSU fans would take Landry over OBJ. I'm not saying it'd be a landslide or anything, just that it would be more than you'd think

But yeah, I think Treadwell is a STUD. I just can't ignore how elite that entire list is and kick anyone off

Landry had better hands it seemed in college. OBJ was always more of a threat, but we weren't so good at exploiting that

Using the word "definitely" and then following up with time in the league is absurd. I'd like to see the stats in terms of production early on. not including when injured.

Exactly. Landry was a better college player. OBJ's rise isn't all that shocking, but he was nowhere near this utilized in Baton Rouge.

Treadwell is a different kind of receiver. He's not so much a big play guy. He's more of a possession receiver who is strong enough and fast enough to break tackles and get tough extra yards. He will fit well into a system that has big play threats.

ETA: no Mike Wallace. List is shite.

I was going to say this...no offense to Treadwell, but I think Cooper is the best WR in the SEC this year

You should ask us after he has a big game against a top opponent. We have yet to see that from him.

This will be difficult because people are going to think of what Beckham and Julio are in the NFL not what they were in college.

Do you remember those plays where Johnny would seemingly run wild in the backfield avoiding 20 tackles then heave the ball downfield in Evans' general direction where there would be multiple defensive backs and Evans would just reel em in every time

Sorry I don't remember that. I typically watched aTm when they played LSU.
