That would make sense. I can't think of even one connection between LSU and corndogs. Love them myself, with mustard for a gameday at the house. But doesn't make any sense.

I've heard a lot of theories but don't really know. Tailgaiting is normally Cajun fare so it's not the food. Dunno.

Y'all look like carnies. And there are lots of corn dogs at carnivals.

Ive already got locations for my soon-to-be corndog stands. One on Cooper in midtown. One on gayoso and main downtown.

Come in man, we all know it's going to be out in front of Jwags.

I, for one, think corndogs are a delicious treat, and there are a lot worse things that Tiger Stadium could allegedly smell like. Although I have never walked around campus on gameday and thought "lordie it smells like corn-battered deliciousness out here."

Haters gonna hate
corndogs gonna corndog

"corndog" is euphemism for penis, testifying to the average male lsu fan's sexuality.

2006 Story
Auburn fan on a message board.

A few years ago, an unknown Auburn person penned the very essence of the LSU Corn Dog. It was posted by a fan that goes by DeepBlue and appeared on the Autigers.com web site. No one knows his true identity. But he is a modern day Hemingway. Like the annual telling of The Night Before Christmas, I give to you, The Making of the LSU Corn Dog. Enjoy...

Auburn fans got that term off a rival of Nebraska's forum. If you want to smell an actual corndog, then you need to come to this redneck state, of Alabama. If it ain't orginial, it ain't Auburn. Auburn has the colors, fight songs, mascot of every original school in the SEC. If it ain't orginal, it ain't Auburn. My dentist is located on that campus, and that campus, besides the stadium, reminds me of UNO. The campus doesn't have too many trees, plus the buildings are extremely close to each other. I hate to admit it, but Bama's campus is beautiful and I have to rank LSU behind Bama.

So he copied and pasted and that makes him a modern day Hemingway? If you say so.

Or Nostradamus, seeing the coming historical gap growing between LSU and AU and it didn't sit well. Oh well, better hated than not noticed.
