Arky is so desperate to be good at something. This thread is sad.

This is where I tell you that corn fed boys from Wisconsin are better than rice fed boys from Arkansas. You can not even remotely think the success at Wisconsin will be the same at Arkansas.

I'm just bringing facts and a question to the SECr

I see you accept my facts and ignore my question, like most people in this thread. Youz guys will live with your head in the sand till Bert starts dominating the SEC.

All three of our primary backs (JWill, AC3 and Korliss Marshall) are CERTAINLY capable of having 1000 yard seasons. The biggest determining factor is how the carries are distributed.

Talk about being over dramatic.

We could have three 1,000 yard rushers this year.

I totally agree. The key here will be if we have a passing game as well to open up our ground game.

Sadly, I don't know we'll have a potent air threat.

So you think that Wisconsin has a better recruiting ground than Arkansas. Gotcha.

Probably not. However, Wisconsin plays in a far inferior conf. and they don't need the talent that teams in the SEC do, especially in the West. There is also a tremendous difference in overall team speed between the two conferences.

Stud was an awful coach, which is why he's no longer employed and we went out and got a real OL coach.

you mean the same conference that saban came from and that les miles originated from?

because it sure sounds like your arguement is no good coaches come from the B1G

Who then coached at good SEC programs afterwards.

Saban came from Mich. St. for a sleeping giant.
Miles came from OSU for an awaken giant.
Bert came from Wisc. to find a sleeping pig.

did I just imagine Arkansas winning 10 games a couple years back and those trips to Atlanta with Houston frickin Nutt?

because if that doesn't make us fit the definition of a good program, what the hell does that make most of the teams in the SEC?

Results of the past? Are we talking pre-1992 or what?

I probably would have attacked the portion of his arguement about Wisconsin having drastically slower overall team speed.

cool don't really care either way, all I know is they're pretty good coaches with a background in the B1G

see my response above to tbird.

just because you guys choose to live with your head in the sand, doesn't make the reality of tFlagship being a good program any less real

Arkansas has never won the SEC.

Never.

Not in the 22 seasons Arkansas has been in the SEC have they won the conference.

Let's expand this to BCS bowls, in the 16 years the BCS Bowls were around, Arkansas made 1 appearance and lost to a Big Ten team.

Arkansas is a run of the mill mediocre SEC program, and nothing more than that.
