Seriously? I've read that Saban picks the Friday night movie for inspirational/motivational value. Don't think he'd let the team watch that the night before a game.

Ten years back we were in TTown the night before LSU played Bama to watch a movie. At that time we lived between Tuscaloosa and Selma and our movie house was in TTown.

Just before the movie started one of the managers came down and opened the emergency exit and the entire LSU football team marched in, took seats and watched the movie with us. When it ended they went back out the exit to their awaiting busses. They stayed at the motel on McFarland at I-20.

Bama beat them the next day.

I believe I saw the band getting off at the Grandview Marriot off of hwy 280 in Birmingham. I am not sure if the team is also staying there.

One more JFF thread from youse guys, it's Krystals Palace on The Oaks Terrace. The well water water is free and sleeping in public will be encouraged.

Get a room at the LaQuinta Inn right off the interstate in Tuscaloosa. You won't be disappointed.

a guy called in to finebaum a while back, who talked about his sister, who had offers to appear in Playboy and was a Tennessee fan, went to meet lane kiffin at the team hotel off 280 in Birmingham the night before the Cody FG block game.

Also said that lane propositioned her and she declined.

I suggest Hoover. About 40 minutes down 459 North from Tuscaloosa and several new-ish places to stay. Plus many excellent restuarants and the Galleria area as well. Take exit 10, keep right on Hwy 150/John Hawkins Blvd and go less than 2 miles.

Same exit as the Hoover MET/SEC baseball tournament.

No need to go into B'ham proper or down hwy 280.

Hilton of 280 if you haven't figured it out yet. At least that is where a&m is.
