Before Saban turned LSU around, they were basically Arkansas.

Number of 10-win seasons in 30 years prior to '92.

Alabama - 14
Arkansas - 9
Georgia - 7
Auburn - 6
Tennessee - 5
Texas A&M - 5
Ole Miss - 2
Florida - 1
Kentucky - 1
LSU - 1
South Carolina - 1
Missouri - 0
MSU - 0
Vanderbilt - 0

Yea, I guess you could say we've flip-flopped.

They still went to LSU, they just had god-awful coaches.

i honestly think if Dinardo hadn't been so stubborn, gotten rid of Tepper and brought in a decent DC...he would've won a NC.

he turned a lot of things around before Tepper came in and destroyed it all

A&M, when it has tried, has recruited Louisiana well. Billy Cannon Jr. played for us.

LSU. Dinardo is the one that started rebuilding the fence. Before Dinardo the talent went to the big name schools Colorado, Nebraska, Washington, Miami, Florida State, etc.

Dinardo actually started putting the fence back up and Saban finished it.
