I agree.

Its summer and its slow. Very little to troll about. Gumps are too easy. Mizzu and TAM - who cares. So the OP has to try to create something. Weak attempt in my opinion. Might have been good when Jones was hired, or, if he has a loosing record. But the timing is poor and little to no thought was given to this troll post. If a gump had posted it, I would have just chalked it up to a low intelligence level. Since its a LSU fan - its just the heat.

Better luck next time.

2011 UT 0 5*, 12 4*
2011 UGA 2 5*, 12 4*
2012 UT 0 5*, 10 4*
2012 UGA 2 5*, 6 4*

So, UT has had 3 5* recruits in the last 4 recruiting classes (well, not the last 4, since we aren't including 2013). All three of those left the program after 1 or 2 seasons (Da'Rick Rogers left after 2, Bryce Brown and Nu'Keese Richardson each left after 1).

UGA has had 5 5* during that period. Orson Charles played 3 seasons at UGA. Isaiah Crowell left after one very productive season. Ray Drew has played 2 seasons and is a starter at DE this year. Keith Marshall had 4 runs of over 50 yards as a Freshman last season, John Theus started on the OL as a Freshman last season.

In 2012, UGA fielded 4 5* players, UT fielded 0. So, Georgia is fielding better talent than UT.

They should have hired Willie Taggart from Western Kentucky... but I'm glad they didn't.

Hopefully not anytime soon. Even with 6 straight, I'm still not over the beatdowns they used to hand us when I was growing up (also 1-3 against them while I was at UA, and that 1 win was eventually vacated).

When Alabama gets a bad one. That's usually how it works.

So you are implying that either A) Nick Saban will retire after 2013, or B) Nick Saban goes full retard and averages 4 wins a year for the next 3 seasons.

Lol just a couple months ago UT fans were pissed Butch was their coach because he was just decent. Now they think any attempt to make him sound anything but godly is trolling.

They are #1 on rivals, but.....They have more 3 stars than 4 stars and they also have plenty of room for scholarships. So ............frick em'. I see them pulling an Ole Miss type class.

That's what I am saying. It is so early. I know the past couple of years Alabama's biggest signees have been in the Nov-Jan range. Look at USC, they had the #1 class last year, before having 100 different people decommit in the final month.

Right. There was/is a lot of excitement about D'Haquille Williams coming to LSU then boom. When he signs a LOI or enrolls, I'll believe it then.

What big name coach would want to come to Tennessee where he would have to compete against Florida, Georgia, USC, with Bama as a permanent opponent every year?

The Vols will have to forget about hiring a big name coach as long as the permanent rule remains in its present format.

The permanent opponent anchor will keep the Vols from returning to football relevance as long as Saban remains at Bama. Until then, it's cupcake land--forever!

Furthermore, finding big name coordinators will be next to impossible for any Tennessee H.C. with Bama on their schedule every year.

Gump Nation loves the permanent opponent rule. Why shouldn't they? Their present day football dynasty is built on it.

The real question is when will the Tennessee Nation wake up and stop offering their football teams up as sacrificial lambs to the Bama Dynasty?
