Its been a long time. LSU fans seem to think more of their QB's than everybody else. Flynn was pretty productive, Mett and Russell, meh, good but they made too many mistakes. Jefferson, nope.
The last QB that you knew could beat you with his arm and make great decisions ws probably Hodson. Had he had Arnsparger and the material he was bringing in all 4 years at LSU, he would have won 3 maybe 4 SEC titles. He was that good but recruiting dropped off big time with the gum chewer.

I don't know any LSU fan that I hang out with that has ANY confidence in our QB situation. Of course the fact that we have kicked Auburn's arse 6 out of 8 times means that we'll probably not need much QB play to win that one this year.

BTW, Jarrett Lee led LSU to an 8-0 start in 2011.
Flynn started ONE year and led LSU to the NC in that one year, after clipboarding behind Jamarcus frr 2 years; sorta like what Tee Martin did after sitting behind Peyton.
Matt Mauck won a NC in 2003.
Mauck was 2-0 vs Auburn.
Jamarcus was only 1-2 vs Auburn.
Flynn was 1-0.
