Yeah I'm definitely saying arizona basketball holds more clout than frickin arkansas. I can name a few more programs that are better than arky too. They have a good history but they aren't a top flight program. Florida and kentucky are better than arky In their own conference. How many blueblood programs do you think there are? People who follow basketball know who the frick arizona is. Arkansas? Yeah right.

Troll game is weak. Clemson is the greatest CFB program of all time. They are practically always in the running for a title and beat Bama last season. All hail Clemson! Nobody comes close to them.
Gonzaga is top dog in their conference and basketball is king there. It's a good gig and Gonzaga might be a better program at this point. That isn't a knock on Arkansas, either. Gonzaga is a top 20 or so program

They are very close, but Arizona def has surpassed Arkansas and they aren't looking back

UCLA? So you're basing their competition on this particular team? Well SEC has UK so you lose. Or maybe Oregon? A team that didn't make it past the 1st round of the NCAA tourney until 2002. Colorado? USC? Washington? I'm taking Vandy, LSU and Florida historically over that group and the entire world would agree.
Your whole opinion is perception based. AZ is a bigger market and a bigger draw geographically. But looking at sheer numbers you can see why you are clearly wrong.

I honestly have to ask if Gonzaga has ever made it past the sweet 16. I fill out multiple brackets and know to leave the Zags out after the 1st round due to them being a terrible program with no hope of beating multiple decent teams. Gonzaga is the Boise St of the CBB world. But even Boise beats good teams every now and then on a big stage.

what program is 'always' in the running for the title. certainly not LSU. it is fluctuates from season to season.
alabama has a good recent run but that is not typical over time.
Clemson football appears to living in your head rent free.

Clemson had three 9 win seasons under Bowden and i think the ACC was tougher overall in the 00's. is 9 wins not enough to qualify as a good program?
in the 90's, the worst decade at Clemson in modern era, Clemson still had one 10 win season and two 9 win seasons.

They made the Sweet 16 as an 11 seed last year and Elite 8 two years ago.

And yes Gonzaga is better than Arkansas this year. They've been better than Arkansas a ton in the last 20 years. Will Gonzaga ever win a championship? No. It's actually laughable to think they ever will. Could Arkansas? Yeah they could catch lightening in a bottle again and win. Just as Florida can. Gonzaga is not a serious threat to go anywhere and never will.
