It's crazy to think they haven't won a NY6/BCS game in almost a decade. I know that hurts, a least they recapture Da Boot.

The amount of butt hurt in this thread is remarkable from LSU posters.
Try bypassing these posts while navigating your own thread objectively and I'm certain you will find some unemotional and reasonable replies to the OP.

You guys make a few threads a day talking about other teams...
Well, you guys start baseless threads nearly every day about LSU and it's HC.

...then you guys get all emotional if someone makes a negative LSU thread.
It's well known that the Bama posters on this board don't get extremely defensive and emotional when negative topics regarding Saban or their team arises.

You got your asses kicked by an ACC team. Lol

Yeah I know what I posted, LSU being great helps the Sec...same with Florida Auburn or Tennessee Alabama. Gawd you guys act like idiots....One LSU poster mentioned beating Louisville as a significant win!?..Lmao Kentucky beat the same team weeks earlier. The others usually reply with the same typical Gump stereotype answers. Each time I see 10-0 or 0-0 in the 4th quarter posted I laugh a little but at the same time I feel bad for how delusional ya'll become as fans as "Kept it Close University"

Louisville against the heisman trophy winner and coach genius.

Bama loses the NC & 2 OCs in less than a month, while LSU fills up the recruiting class with vital players and hires the best assistant coaches on the market = Bama scares easily.

Yeah it's too bad that Bama didn't load up with elite recruits like LSU did. I mean you guys loaded up and we signed the scrubs that you didn't have room for. Plus, there is no way that Nick Saban knows how to put a staff together. Yes sir, he has never had to replace a member of his staff before. Without Sark we are fricked. We can only hope to make a run for second in the west since LSU is our daddy. And of course we are scared shitless of elite coach Ed Orgeron and the most talented roster that resides in Baton Rouge. You nailed it smart guy.

Whether he's trolling or not, there's a lot of truth in this statement.

LSU's emergence started (or coincided with, your choice) the SEC's emergence as the top conference. During that run it was LSU and ___; LSU and Auburn alternating in the West, LSU vs Georgia, then vs Florida for the conference titles. LSU first to win multiple BCS titles. LSU finishing top 5 the year Fla won the BCS.
We were consistently good, even when other teams would break through. The road to the national title had to come through Baton Rouge... and although Fla and Alabama were able to do so, we remained the relevant test each year. So the SEC was perceived as a super-conference.

Now, the road goes through Tuscaloosa, but nobody else has made it through. It's currently the Tide and 13 other teams, not a group of teams fighting to emerge as the national title favorite.

Well in my opinion taking a tip from your great head coach every win is a significant win and every game is a big game

LSU has not played to the level of talent they have. Right now half the SEC West teams are down but I see LSU, Auburn trending up

LSU is a 10-2 program and anything less is a bad year and anything better is a great season

Alabama is a 12-0 program and anything less is a bad year.

Enjoy your success and be humble and act like you have been there.

Beating Auburn in 2013 was pretty significant, IMHO. That was the only game they lost til the NC game that year

Alabama fans are like the sons of a billionaire. They run around bragging about shite and acting like bad asses all based off someone else's accomplishments.

When is the last time LSU Football won a significant game? by Lsuchs

What do you define as a big game? A championship, a power 5 OOC, bowl game, top 5 opponent? We haven't won any championships since 2011, you've won all but 1 (kick 6) since then. We did beat auburn that year though, is that "big?" We just lost our first regular season OOC game since 02 (Wisconsin). So we've won those annually for a long time boosting the conference prestige. We just handled the Heisman winner in a decent bowl game If you are talking winning against a top 5 opponent we beat #3 ole miss 2 years ago. I mean we are doing the normal things good programs on a title drought do. We haven't beaten bama and that's the only way you win titles, sometimes you have to do it twice. We've beaten every other program we play on a regular basis in the last few years:

UF AU OM MSU A&M Ark

THIS.

End of thread.

I think every LSU fan that I know has felt this way for a long time. That is why we wanted a change so bad. The funny thing is all these fans from other teams kept telling us not to get rid of a national champion coach. As always the people that know a program best are the ones closest to it. As for O, I'll give him a shot because Thank God his name is not Les Miles. I'm not really sure why I even posted because usually I don't really give a frick what somebody has to say about LSU unless it's from another LSU fan. It's not that I have anything against other fan bases it's just that they usually say something really stupid about a subject they know nothing about.

Considering our SEC record was 5-3 the last two years, we won 10 significant games in the last 2 years. Specifically, the Arkansas win this year was absolutely necessary to break the hell that it was becoming
