Beat the crap out of louisville, a team that lost to clemson by six. Which makes them better than what bama did.

There was a big game this past season. The one where they accused Florida of chickening out and made them come to their place to play.........surely the won that game didn't they?

This years UF game was no bigger than usual. If that's a big game then when we beat them in 2015 in a top 10 matchup could be considered a big game. Also beating them 5 of the last 7, or 9 of the last 15 could be big games.

What do you define as a big game?

A championship, a power 5 OOC, bowl game, top 5 opponent?

We haven't won any championships since 2011, you've won all but 1 (kick 6) since then. We did beat auburn that year though, is that "big?"

We just lost our first regular season OOC game since 02 (Wisconsin). So we've won those annually for a long time boosting the conference prestige.

We just handled the Heisman winner in a decent bowl game

If you are talking winning against a top 5 opponent we beat #3 ole miss 2 years ago.

I mean we are doing the normal things good programs on a title drought do. We haven't beaten bama and that's the only way you win titles, sometimes you have to do it twice.
We've beaten every other program we play on a regular basis in the last few years:
UF
AU
OM
MSU
A&M
Ark

OP is going heavy with the taunts, but it's a valid point. SEC needs LSU and Florida (or Tennessee, or Georgia) to step it back up. Big 10 is going to have the Ohio St- Michigan game coming back up into major prominence again, and Penn St back in the mix too. We (as a conference) don't need Bama at 1, then somebody at 10 or so... we need a couple heavyweights to keep the conference at the top.

I'm still reserved on Coach O- the basic plan seems to be to let him recruit at a level to match Bama, and leave the X's and O's to the coordinators. It can work, on paper... the concern I have is being bold and decisive in a big, tight game. You don't get the crazy-like-a-fox call from the coordinator, you get it from the HC. Ironically, Les made a number of those, he just let things get stagnant.

We'll see

Well LSU did beat the Heisman award winner in its last game. Meanwhile, Bama could not even beat the Heisman runner up.

Hell, I'll play your game. No, we haven't won a game with any real significance in a while Which is why we LSU fans had been begging for Les to be removed for the last several years. We FINALLY made a change and it validated what we already knew. Plug in just about anyone other than Les and co. we could win with the talent we have. The future is bright peeps. Look out and GEAUX TIGERS!!!!
