A&M fans dont you get tired of doing this every year? one big win & your coach gets all google eyed, then you idiots get all star crossed and next thing you know youre all convinced that A&M will surely win the super bowl this year. then in 6 weeks its right back to your mediocre reality. I find all the smack talk about the SEC East pretty funny. As a whole it has been a little down the last few years, but there have still been some good teams.
And people also seem to forget that the East (Fla and Tenn) won six of the first seven SECCG and people wondered if the divisions had been made uneven. The West literally just caught up to the east.

To be fair this thread had nothing to do with A&M 'winning the super bowl' or even making it to the SECcg. I even made sure not to mention A&M in the original post. It's more of a come to Jesus discussion with the East.. because I'm bored.

The TAMU vs OM and TAMU vs LSU games are going to be very good. Two very good secondaries against a well oiled machine on offense.

yeah I think its been more a case of parity in the east than being that far down. anytime there isnt a juggernaut there is a perception of that division being down. some people were making that case against the west in years that some combinations of Bama, LSU & AU didnt show a clear leader among the pack and those ended up being some of the best teams in the history of the game. its all about perception.

So you got well oiled machine from beating up an SC team that we knew lost everyone in their front 7 that was worth a damn and was never good in the secondary? USC couldn't have got a pass rush against most decent 4A LA high schools last night much less against an SEC team.

Let me see....Texas A&M has a 3-2 record verses SEC East teams since joining the SEC. Seems pretty.....average to me.
And which decade would YOU like to cite for A&M glories, pray tell?

We won the SEC in 2005. When is the last time you won a SEC Championship? Ok....how about a Big 12 Championship, then?
