I had no idea USCe's defense would be that bad and the drop off from Shaw was inevitable. But there's a pretty good chance you swap Florida for USCe now that they're healthy again. Florida being down last season was more of an anomaly then anything. Tennessee will be improved IMO. Georgia remains to be seen.

The West's current SECCG run is still a game short of the East's longest streak in the game.

Boom.

I'm just hoping at some point they would want to be competitive in the conference again. I'm sure it was rough on the West in the 90's or w/e. But apparently making it through to the title game is some prestigious honor.. which appears to be only half true in this day and age.

Remind me again when A&M finished higher than 3rd in their own conference? I keep forgetting. Typically I don't mind A&M fans on here...but you are a new animal.

Oh, I was not aware of that. Good stuff. Well good luck to your side on defending that stat come this season's end.

Crap no. I'm not pumped about your game. SouCar will adjust and be back. I fully expect them to be in the mix before the end of the season. Ia lso think if you win and if A&M wins...it will be a totally different game in Atlanta. Here's hoping that it is US in Atlanta and not you, though.

Exactly what has Georgia done other than lose the conference championship game recently? Coming from the East there's not too much to hang your hat on either. I mean I guess you guys had a good run or two a decade ago.

Georgia fans talk big a lot, but they've accomplished about as much as we have recently.. which is to say 'not much.'

If am another team in the east, I am doing the complete opposite of panicking. I am feeling good because what looked like my main competition for the east doesn't look like much competition now

It's hard to separate out fans and recognize who's who. Thanks for this thread. Daowna is an idiot.

Only 2 teams. South Carolina and Vanderbilt.

SEC downsized overnight.

So watching the bar get lower and lower is cause for celebration? I must disagree with this. But hey, it's not my division.

East is even wider open than we all thought at the beginning of the year.

For those claiming the west is so much better, there are a LOT of games to be played. and the head to head record of the two divisions is very close over the last 2 years. 15-13 in favor of the SEC west in the regular season.

No one cheers for the division frick stick.

I'll happily take a down division and a trip to the SEC title game.

Oh look, a Mizzou fan who thinks getting out the East is a coveted achievement. Shocking.

By all means, please do. It would be good to see an East team capable of getting past the conference championship game.

Well, if crowing about a team that has not finished higher than third in their own division isn't lowering the bar, then I don't know what is. Finish higher than third....then talk, k?

Florida has a history of winning the championship game when they actually get there. Most wins all time. Assuming TAMU ever gets there, I guarantee they don't wanna see Florida.

No you're right. Teams like LSU and Florida seem to be able to deal with spread pretty well. It would not be a good match up for us.
