Auburn fielded some good teams in the early 2000s, but the only real recent success ('10) is diminished because most people think it was a "one-man-show" and not a good representation of what kind of program Auburn has. Take away that one golden season and it looks like Auburn is on a serious backslide.

Had Auburn been able to put together a 10 win season on either side of that championship team, then maybe people would think differently. Or maybe even if people thought you guys could pull 10 out this year.

Its all about consistency, and it looks like Auburn consistently puts together 7-9 win teams, which just doesn't cut it.

Honestly, the jury is still out on the Chiz.. this is a very important season for him, IMO. If he can pull off 9 wins, that would be respectable. 7 or less, and Auburn may have problemos.

That's because of the offense Auburn had under Malzahn, when you have a able QB it can wear defenses down, and when you don't,it wears your own defense down and thus the lopsided scores sometimes.

Not hard to figure out really.

Which 4? Is this why FSU didn't get an invite?

^This - whomever thinks otherwise knows nothing about SEC football.

I just thought it would be fun to watch cpa and allin and the other NtY nutrolls boycott the rant.
