UGA stopped several years ago with that noise...when they realize that they could have New Englands NFL team and still choke away big games.
Unfortunately, their lack of chest puffing led to the UT hillbillies to start pointing out recruiting prowness and patting themselves on the back and patting their cousins on the rear.
Then came last year and lo and behold...they won 3 SEC games against UK, Vandy and USC and the Rant was disrupted by the incessant droning of hillbillies twanqing Rocky Top on their banjos...at first they didnt know exactly how to act since it was all new to them. They had been confined for so long in the cellar and had to endure uncles from other teams unhooking their overalls...but by golly they won three SEC games and were going to a bowl game!
Their coach was so confident and his lemon sucking face was ear to ear with pride. Then he announced that "they were not near where they needed to be" and "we have the youngest team in the world" and brick by brick processes. It was all a feller could do but scratch his head and then the games started....and it looked like 2013, 2014 again. Huh?

People are so dumb about these rankings.
It's not that complicated. Does your ranking say if you win out you will get in? Then you should be happy.
If it doesn't, and your team doesn't have a bunch of losses, then try playing decent teams for a change.
