Texas A&M vs. Mizzou

It really is quite long odds that none of the 3 traditional rivalires (Alabama/Tenn, Auburn/UGA, LSU/UF) has happened yet.
I mean obviously it's more difficult considering they will give each other losses during the year, however after 20+ years you think it still would have happened, considering these are the best 6 programs and have a near monopoly on SEC title game appearances.

I can think of two teams that would not see the humor in this.

If it's UTx and KU, who cares? That should actually make most of us root for that. I wouldn't mind seeing that due to the melt on here.

It is really amazing that the SECCG has be around for over 20 years and we have not had Auburn-Georgia or Alabama-Tennessee. If Tennessee would have beat Florida in 1999, they would have rematched Alabama in the SEC Title game. I actually wanted that badly, because Tennessee was Alabama's only SEC loss that year.

I may be biased, but I feel it's more surprising that LSU-UF hasn't happened yet. Both UGA and LSU were crap in the 90's, and good and challengers since 2000. And UF has been the most consistent team since 92.

Similar to Alabama-Tennessee 1999, in 2001 if Florida beats Tennessee they rematch LSU for the SEC Title.

This would cause both schools to reevaluate their decision to join such a sucky conference

What's interesting. Is a rematch has only happened 6 times, and 5 of those were between 1999-2004. That's 5 out of 6 years. Also a permanent cross div rivalry has never rematched.

2000. Auburn was one of our annual opponents for a long time through 2002.

Just think if Auburn ever moved to the east... not that they EVER would you could see AU/Bama twice a year...
I dont think the State could handle that much MELT
Both go undefeated during the regular season.
Loser of the Iron Bowl wins the SECCG.
Playoffs pick both teams, both being 12-1.
Both play in the first round.
The other two teams are kicked out of the playoff for cheating, so they play again.
By the fourth game, the entire state is in the hospital from multiple heart attacks.

No trees would be left standing, and all statues would have the opposition's jersey.
