Not every time.
2008 SECCG- Bama lead 20-17 going into the 4th. Florida scored to go up by 11 with less than three minutes in the game
2006- 1 point game mid way through 4th. UF went up 21-13 with less than 7 to play and then had a 70 yard pick six on Bama's next drive for the 28-13 final.
Although Bama did beat the dog shite out of them in 2005, 2009, 2010, and 2011

Thankfully 2014 won't be on that list

Yeah because it might be even worse for Florida. Maybe Bama/Michigan State bad

Ideal for me as a Carolina fan: USC vs Arkansas or USC vs Auburn
Games mentioned in here that I'd like to see:
UT vs UA
UGA vs AU
Mizzou vs A&M

Kind of the reason I wouldn't mind it. Of course not for another 10 years, when LSU is breaking in Miles' successor in year one.

I think a USC-LSU matchup wouldbe cool. Good friend is a USC fan, and I feel there is a decent bit of respect on here between the 2 fanbases. Likely due to baseball.

who is your quarterback?
Your question is likely rhetorical, as in "you guys are going to suck because you won't have a good QB," but in case it wasn't, here you go:
Most money seems to be on Jacob Coker (transfer from FSU, older QB with experience in a college program albeit not at Alabama, great size and athleticism, obvious disadvantage that he will be new to Alabama - but we know from recent experience that transfer/JUCO QBs can have immediate success in the SEC).
Others in the running:
Cooper Bateman (redshirt last year - top 5 prostyle QB in 2013 class, good size, people feel like his ceiling is high, I wouldn't count him out as being the guy next year)
Blake Sims (most experience at Alabama, questions about his throwing ability for Alabama's prostyle system)
Alec Morris (2012 recruit, been in the system for a while, must people aren't high on his ceiling though, looks like a career back up)
David Cornwell (2014 recruit and early enrollee so will go through Spring, another top 5 pro-style QB recruit, going through spring will help but would be surprised if a true freshman starts, he has great size and a big arm - might have the highest upside of all the QBs, QB of the future imo but not for 2014, one of the highest rated QBs Alabama has every signed)

Bama vs Bama with Ritters crew on the field. First game in history with no penalties.

How much game experience does Coker have at FSU? And how much meaningful game experience. I haven't read up on him, and don't follow FSU closely enough.

Only mop up duty. Seems like he got hurt around 2/3 through the season. Played in 6 games. Mediocre, pretty meaningless stats.
I'm not convinced he is going to beat out Bateman.
I think Sims and Morris have very little shot.
Cornwell probably doesn't have much of a shot either as a true freshman, but I really like him out of all the guys for the future.
It's always scary going into the season with a new starter at QB, but it is going to happen a minimum of every 2-3 years for every college team, so we'll see. Alabama's results will probably be similar to the last two times they have started new QBs.

I really like Bateman, tbh. I think he could really be great.

So true. That's partly why I was glad Jennings was going to start the bowl game. So he got meaningful experience against a pretty solid defense.
It's a catch 22. You want the new starter to have meaningful experience coming in, but that means your starter got hurt.
Actually the last time LSU broke in a new starter, that had played the previous bowl, we won the national title. I think I'm liking this.
