We only played them twice during the Spurrier years.
Then they got us twice during the Zook years with Eli (who didn't go 0-4 against us like a certain other SEC QB).
Then they somehow beat our 08 team in the Swamp.

52-10 I think? Technically 51-11 because of the forfeit in 1993. 2015 is when they finally broke double digits against us

It is incredible how historically dominant Alabama has been over the Mississippi schools. Alabama has beaten Ole Miss and Miss State a combined 133 times.

If only we all could've been as lucky as Alabama to have played both Mississippi schools + Vanderbilt annually through most of our history while dodging the majority of the Big 6 most years. With 3 auto wins every year maybe we all could have 20 claimed national championships and a false sense of accomplishment

35-27-1
Arkansas and Ole Miss series started in 1908. For years it was a very heated rivalry. The series was cancelled in 1961, a year after fights broke out across War Memorial Stadium between Ole Miss and Arkansas fans. Ole Miss won the game, but the fight was over the field goal being no good, but the refs giving the signal of good. Ole Miss won that game, 10-7.

7-8
For Shame
If we are playing moral victories then we were 2-0 under Spurrier.

44-61-5, but before you start laughing, the series is tied 15-15 the last 30, and State leads 13-12 the last 25 which also coincides with SEC expansion. I know this is "cherry picking" but if you take out the Johnny Vaught years which we were 2-19-4 the series is 42-42-1.

Auburn was damn lucky not to have played Alabama for 40 years, during which time Alabama won 4 national titles (does not include 1941), was 2nd in the nation behind Notre Dame with 77% winning pct, while Auburn was #74 in the nation at 58%. The first game played after that time, Alabama won 55-0.

I am interested if you know Auburn's record vs Vanderbilt and Alabama's record vs Florida and Tennessee? That's what I thought. You look like a fool.

Alabama is the one that backed out of the series. Not our fault.

I think the bottom line they didn't play was about money, as is generally the case, but the point is that you said Alabama was lucky to have played the Mississippi schools most years. Clearly, Auburn was lucky to not play Alabama during a span of years that UA was the #2 team in the nation and Auburn was #74.
edit: And Mississippi State was better than Auburn during that time, at #61 in the nation with a 61% winning pct so Alabama would have been luckier to play Auburn than to play Miss. St. Google it. It ain't that hard. I'll even do it for you... LINK
