They are not built to stop teams that employ the "old man" style of football.

I agree. That spread system doesn't work against everyone

True. You can utulize spread elements in your offense and still be physical aka Auburn etc. but Mizzou does none of that plus their defense practices against that finesse style offense every day.
Still pulling for those tigers though.
