Yes... State was 7th in the country (higher than LSU) in television ratings last year.

Leads in to my question are you deaf or just fricking stupid when watching a State game?

We lost all our players. Currently holding tryouts trying to fill the roster back. Just doing the best we can.

What's the word on State?

It'll be a fierce battle between them and Aggy for 6th place in the West.

They've deluded themselves into thinking that none of their starters were any good last year (aside from those who returned), but reality will inevitably set in September 12 when the Dawgs get neutered in Starkistan.

By season's end, they'll be the same old Moo we're used to and back in their rightful place in one of the bottom two spots in the division.

6-6 (2-6)

Going to be fun watching Dak spread the ball all over the field again. Think we will take our foot of the gas in the 4th Quarter this year?

Leave State alone, because when they start grinding, it won't stop.

Honest response. Lost 3 OL starters, have a couple guys starting on the OL with a little playing time, and the other is a big time JUCO recruit. Most all the WR's are coming back(4 of top 6). Lost JRob at RB, but should have a three-headed monster(Shumpert, Aeris Williams and Dontavian Lee) taking his place. Of course, Dak is back at QB.
On defense, we lose some of the front 7(4 starters), but we played so many players under the old defensive scheme that we return 5 of our top 7 tacklers. Our corners might be at the top of the conference. One, Will Redmond, who wasn't considered a starter last year is being nominated for preseason awards. Our safeties are questionable. New DC should help make more big plays, but might give up more also.
All said, we could go anywhere from 10-2 to 6-6. All according if players step up on the OL/DL.

Preseason at/just outside the Top 25.

Final rankings 10-15 with outside shot at a special season should things bounce their way.

Key determinate will be how the offensive line gels together.

So we've got one State fan in this thread saying the platoon system was shite and another saying it's the reason they'll be good.

Does the NCAA still feel so bad for MS State that they continue to allow artificial noisemakers at games?

Mississippi State admitted to the NCAA that they couldn't convince a QB to live in Starkville for $200,000. Of course they still feel bad for MSU. It's just not right to spank a cripple.
